Cell Therapy Foundation welcomes Dr. Jan Byars to the organization's Advisory Board.
Byars, president founder of LeadSync, LLC, has a PhD in Leadership and Organizational Change from Antioch University. She received her Master of Science in Clinical Counseling from Wright State University and is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communications from the University of Kansas. She has also been trained in mediation and is a professional HeartMath® provider. Prior to completing her graduate training, she worked for several years in marketing and public relations.
Byars has experience in public and privately held organizations as well as non-profits, non-government organizations (NGOs) and government organizations in industries such as manufacturing, communications, construction, health services and food service.
An active member of the International Leadership Association (ILA), Byars serves as Co-Chair for the Ethics Forum Learning Community and is past Chair of the Leadership Development Member Interest Group. She presents at ILA conferences, worldwide. As such, Byars works across industries, focusing on the development of leaders.
Byars has a keen interest in Adult Stem Cell research and therapies, particularly with regard to the area of COPD. Byars, together with partners in clinical research, nonprofit organizations and the local community, seek to launch a grass roots initiative to advance Adult Stem Cell-based research in this disease category.
